Our inner ear is responsible for gaze stabalization- allowing us to focus on objects while our head is turning as well as play an important role in balance.
Use of infrared goggles will allow us to examine your eye reflexes in detail to see how our inner ear ear is performing.
We will do a detailed analysis of how you walk and perform balance activities.

Benign Paryoxysomal Positional Vertigo
This is the most common cause of vertigo with inner ear dysfunctions. Otoconia ("ear rocks") dislodge into your semiciruclar canals and make you feel like you are moving when you are not which may cause vertigo, dizziness, emesis, nausea and imbalance.
CRM (Canalith Repositioning Maneuever) is designed to get the ear crystalls out of your canals which is performed by your physical therapist by gently moving your body/head in certain positions to "flush out " the canals from debris.
Emergencies ONLY: 240-446-2765.
